Myofascial Anatomy and Kinesiology

This six-day course is for manual therapists and yoga instructors who want to apply a more comprehensive understanding of Myofascial Anatomy and Kinesiology to their work.

Topics covered:
• Myofascial continuity and the kinetic chain
• Deep postural stabilizers and superficial prime movers
• Working with synergist and antagonist relationships
• Muscle Spindles and Golgi Tendon Organs
• Muscle tone: cerebrum, brain stem, spinal cord, and cellular
• The role of the endocrine system in fascial consistency
• The role of self-image in movement, function, dysfunction and therapeutic change

Course Schedule:
• Tue., Wed., and Thu. mornings, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• May 27 through June 5
